FAQ's

I will endeavour to get back to you with 48 hours. Please note this is not a website for emergencies. If you need urgent help or advice please contact your GP, or the Mental Health Emergency Response Line on 1300 555 788.

Please contact me to discuss making an appointment. At present I am not able to take on new referrals, but I can discuss potential referrals to my colleagues. People whom I have seen before are welcome to contact me

I work part-time in Nedlands.

Appointments are 50 minutes in length. You don’t need a referral from a GP to see me, however in order to claim a Medicare rebate a Mental Health Care Plan is required from your GP.

Depending on your level of cover, some private health funds offer rebates, and no referral is required to access these rebates.

There is a gap between the cost of the session, and the Medicare or private health rebate.

A Clinical Psychologist is trained in the assessment and treatment of psychological problems using evidence based techniques.

By talking with a Clinical psychologist, difficulties that cause worry and stress can be discussed. Also, how people may like their situation to be different can be explored. Strategies and skills to bring about understanding and change can then be developed.

People may wish to see me for issues including

Depression
Anxiety
Relationship problems
Grief
Low self esteem

I am an experienced supervisor, and familiar with most models of psychological therapy.
